After running around from Tommy Hilfiger, Niwaka, Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Rag and Bone, Dior, Star Jewlery, and SJX my feet were beat. There was one last stop which was by special invite only. “An Evening Celebrating American Fashion with Michael Kors” at the U.S. ambassador’s residence.

Meeting the designer while wearing his design was such an honor. M.K has such a charming charisma and was never seen without a smile on his face that evening.

The vibe was fantastic inside the party. I got to meet up with Maxine Van-Cliffe Arakawa a Fashion & Style Director of Maxine magazine, Melody Reilly, Ultrablogger Mai Sassy Girl, Rila Fukushima, Ultrablogger Bryan Boy, Ultrablogger Misha Janette, Singer and Actress Jennifer Hudson, Ellie-Rose, Walter Griao, Diego, Sara-Mary, and of course the lady of the night Anna Wintour. Of course there was pretty much all the socialites of Tokyo present thoroughly celebrating and enjoying themselves. There were so many special guests I could not help but think that only MK himself could bring all these exclusive international invitees into one room.

The night ended with Jennifer Hudson’s live. On special request from MK, Hudson sang “And I am Telling you I’m not Going” to complete a fabulous fashion’s night out.

I wanted to say a big “Thank you” to all the special international guests that came to Tokyo and showed their support. It really could not have been successful without them. Ni hon GANBAROU!

This memory will stick with me forever!

XOXO,
Liv Lo

Vogue Fashions Night Out held on November 5th is an annual international shopping event held simultaneously in 17 countries or more. FNO is a global initiative aimed at “revitalizing the economy”. En lieu of this fashionable night out all the major fashion labels in the Omotesando and Harajuku shopping district provide champagne and apperitifs as customers flock to shop and possibly catch their favorite celebrities out shopping as well.

Wrapping up the Fox TV interviews and shopping at Fendi I was free to browse the stores and hunt out my favorite designers. I heard Marcus Wainwright of Rag & Bone was at his store as well as Thom Browne and Junya Watanabe from Comme De Garcons were around town. I stopped on the way at Marc Jacobs to pick up a wallet and met Martin Webb as well as Tiffany Godoy, and Yoshiko Webb.

I was so tired at this point I took a breather with Rena…

The night was buzzing with so much activity I couldn’t stay still for long. There were so many more people to meet. Moving on!

Next I bumped into my friend and designer Walter Griao from Griao who then introduced me to Junya Watanabe from Comme de Garcons.

Thom Browne!

I got so nervous meeting him in person, I started rambling…obviously. haha

Finally dropped by Rag & Bone meeting Kana Oya and Melody Yoko Reilly.

Moving on to SJX we bumped into the fabulous Jonte Moaning and Jasmine.

The best part, other than drinking champagne while shopping, is to be able to meet everyone dressed up and looking beautiful. The streets were overflowing with shoppers and taxis could not drive a block in 5minutes. The vibe was positively electric and felt like what Tokyo had been before the earthquake and tsunami in March. Vogue Fashions Night

Our mission had been successful. Still my night did not end just yet. I had a special invitation to “An Evening Celebrating American Fashion with Michael Kors” at the U.S. ambassador’s residence.

Check the next post for more!

XOXO,

Liv Lo

En lieu of this fashionable night out all the major fashion labels in the Omotesando and Harajuku shopping district provide champagne and apperitifs as customers flock to shop and possibly catch their favorite celebrities out shopping as well.

After interviewing for FOX Backstage Pass I changed from presenter to fashion model for Fendi. The Fendi yellow flowers were so beautiful it became our fashion accessory.

For my first shopping item I picked up the Silvana bag.It is the perfect F/W color and the shape for carries a lot and a little without looking bulky. I picked up the bag from the press room yesterday. I love the Fendi striped detail.

I also had my eye on this bag. The snake skin inner detail is to-die-for!

While in the store I met the always lovely Tominaga Ai wearing Fendi as well.

Fashion blogger Rumi Neely walked into the store, so we had a fun photo session.

Rumi is one the ten ultrabloggers who was flown to Japan to cover the Tokyo FNO fashion scene. She is of Japanese descent, living in L.A, and is perfectly friendly yet cool. Tokyo loves Rumi!

I also bumped into friend and blogger, Yusuke Takahashi, who was translating for Michael Kors’ during his stay.

The biggest Fendi store is located on 1-1-1 Minami Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo,  107-0062, Japan. Be sure to check them out.

After Fendi I went to Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Rag and Bone, Star Jewlery, and SJX to continue the bloc party…

Check the next FNO blog!

XOXO,

Liv Lo
