Spring/Summer is coming soon, or at least I hope so. For the next few weeks it is tenjikai season where we preview the collections and shop for next years fashion. Mercury Duo is one of the many Japanese fashion labels that has caught my eye. One brand of many in the fashion house Mark Styler, Mercury Duo has connected with on trend celebrity style by collaborating with celebrity fashionistas like Nicole Richie and fashion toast blogger Rumi Neely.

The concept for S/S 2012 is Natural Luxury with pastel feminine colors, lots of lace, and sequines. This season also offers collaboration with Minnetonka moccasins that are to die for.

Visual press agents are the cutest models for their brand. I ended up ordering the blue dress and sweater as a set.

Unfortunately ordering at an exhibition means the clothes will not come till January, but I could not stop myself from picking up 2.5 pages of dresses, hand bags, heels, and wraps. As a result I was given a special 50% discount card to shop till I drop at one of their many locations around Japan.

Thank you Mercury Duo! I can’t wait till my boxes of beautiful clothes show up at my door.
XOXO,
Liv
Vogue Fashions Night Out held on November 5th is an annual international shopping event held simultaneously in 17 countries or more. FNO is a global initiative aimed at “revitalizing the economy”. En lieu of this fashionable night out all the major fashion labels in the Omotesando and Harajuku shopping district provide champagne and apperitifs as customers flock to shop and possibly catch their favorite celebrities out shopping as well.
After interviewing for FOX Backstage Pass I changed from presenter to fashion model for Fendi. The Fendi yellow flowers were so beautiful it became our fashion accessory.

For my first shopping item I picked up the Silvana bag.It is the perfect F/W color and the shape for carries a lot and a little without looking bulky. I picked up the bag from the press room yesterday. I love the Fendi striped detail.

I also had my eye on this bag. The snake skin inner detail is to-die-for!
While in the store I met the always lovely Tominaga Ai wearing Fendi as well.

Fashion blogger Rumi Neely walked into the store, so we had a fun photo session.

Rumi is one the ten ultrabloggers who was flown to Japan to cover the Tokyo FNO fashion scene. She is of Japanese descent, living in L.A, and is perfectly friendly yet cool. Tokyo loves Rumi!

I also bumped into friend and blogger, Yusuke Takahashi, who was translating for Michael Kors’ during his stay.

The biggest Fendi store is located on 1-1-1 Minami Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo, 107-0062, Japan. Be sure to check them out.

After Fendi I went to Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Rag and Bone, Star Jewlery, and SJX to continue the bloc party…
Check the next FNO blog!
XOXO,
